We know that finding Wheels devices that are on bounty can be challenging. We wanted to share with you some "inside info" about how the map works on the app, to better help you find bounties!
The map shows Wheels devices that are on "bounty" (meaning that no other transporter has picked it up yet). If you see a device on the street that is not on the map, it means that it is not on bounty (do not pick it up!)
- Click on the pin in the app to see the last time the device location was updated. If it has been more than a few hours, the device might be harder to find.
- Devices that are "moving" on the map are probably being transported by someone else who accidentally did not scan them. This is not allowed, all devices must be scanned in.
- If you find a device that has been scanned in by another transporter but has not been physically picked up, please take a picture of the QR code and report it using the Request Form under the Help Tab in your app menu. Scanning bikes for pick up but leaving them to collect later is not permitted.
