Mechanical lock general rules

In order to successfully close the mechanical lock, please have in mind that you should lock the scooters to the following:
• Bike racks
• Signposts for parking or stop signs

• In-Street Bicycle and Scooter Corrals

When parking, afford at least three (3) feet of the unobstructed pedestrian walkway while maintaining unimpeded access to entrances to private property, driveways, and handicap accessible ramps and parking spots.

Scooters should NOT be locked to:
• Parking meters (especially not Red Top Accessible Parking Meters) • Bus zones
• Private fences
• Trees
• Capital Bikeshare docks
• Garbage cans
